hand & pencil ImageReady animated GIF

Above Hand & Pencil image and cartoon buttons are animated GIFs.

Site originated at now-defunct DomainValet to feature Adobe ImageReady animated GIFs for fall 2000 classwork (CG311 at SUNY/FIT). It has been reactivated at DotEasy, but this is still a simple (now outdated) table-formatted page styled with a Cascading Style Sheet (CSS).

Flash, Director, AfterEffects multimedia possibilities are great, but too often content access is denied if player does not download. Thus, we will be trying a mixed bag with XHTML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and animated GIFs.

We eagerly await SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) using XML (EXtensible Markup Language) or XUL (XML User-interface Language) to become operational so we can upload Adobe Illustrator graphics.

Four (really 3 1/2) Versions of Ways to Display (same) Animated GIFs:
(1) JS Rollovers;
(2) New ROLLS;
(3) Remote & Pop-Up; or
(4) Remote & Pop-Up in Frameset.

FLASH is being added.

A Photoshop document with layers is a potential animated GIF. Starting about version 5 or 6, ImageReady was a separate animation application attached to the back-end of Photoshop. With the advent of Photoshop CS3, the ImageReady application was dispensed with and its functions were directly incorporated into Photoshop under the Window> Animation panel.
